Toots and Roots, LLC provides gardening and related outdoor services in the Chicago, Illinois area. Services are limited to gardening and landscaping tasks agreed upon in a written estimate or agreement.

Services may include:

  • Design & Plant Recommendations: We evaluate your space and provide plant and design recommendations that consider aesthetics, environmental suitability, and budget.

  • Maintenance Responsibilities: We provide ongoing maintenance services, including weeding, trimming, pruning, edging, top mulching, and cleaning, as needed.


Workmanship standards:

  • All services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. Our team members are trained, respectful, and follow safety guidelines.

  • For the safety of our team members, and in cases of unexpected conditions such as weather or hazards, we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

2. Booking and Payment

If you request or book services through our website:

  • You agree to provide accurate contact and payment information.

  • Payments may be made online via Stripe or in person via Venmo or Zelle. All online transactions are processed securely.

  • Quotes and estimates are valid for a limited time and based on the site conditions discussed at the time of the estimate.

  • We will not exceed the original estimated amount without your approval. Any changes or additional work will be clearly communicated and confirmed before proceeding.

  • A deposit may be required to secure services. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel services for nonpayment.

 

3. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Refunds or rescheduling options may vary depending on the timing of cancellation and any materials already purchased for your project.

4. Responsibilities of Clients

Client will make whatever provisions are necessary to ensure easy access to all areas to be serviced on the day and hours of service. Client will provide access to cold water during the day and hours of service. Clients are responsible for notifying us of any special conditions or obstacles in service areas. Failure to provide reasonable access or notifications of conditions may delay service or result in additional charges. Clients are responsible for issues arising from existing structures, pests, or weather-related plant damage unless otherwise agreed. Clients should notify Toots and Roots, LLC, promptly of any issues with plants or services so we can address them in a timely manner.

5. Insurance and Limitation of Liability

Toots and Roots, LLC maintains all necessary business licenses and insurance required by the State of Illinois. Toots and Roots, LLC, is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. While we take care to maintain plants and garden areas, Toots and Roots, LLC, is not responsible for plant failure or damage due to environmental factors, neglect, acts of nature, or client actions.

6. Intellectual Property and Links to Other Websites

All text, images, designs, and other materials on our website are owned or licensed by Toots and Roots, LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
